The APRA Standards of Practice provide guidelines for the Association of Professional Reserve Analysts and define certain terms relating to Reserve Studies. It is the intention of these Standards to be viewed as a minimum standard and not as a limitation on the opinion, recommendations, or practice of the individual Reserve Analyst.

We’re excited to share that the APRA Standards of Practice, last adopted in 2012, have been fully updated!
Over the past year, a dedicated committee of APRA members worked together to review and modernize the Standards to reflect today’s best practices and evolving methodologies. The result is a cleaner, better-organized document that supports consistency and clarity across the profession.
