Membership in APRA

The Association of Professional Reserve Analysts (APRA) is the world's trade organization for reserve study professionals and provides a forum to share information and educate the public about reserve studies.   APRA hosts an annual Symposium  for continuing education, provides credentialing and produces the APRA Advisor newsletter that is circulated to thousands of potential reserve study customers. 

APRA’s Professional Reserve Analyst (PRA) Credential

The Professional Reserve Analyst (PRA) credential is awarded to members who:

1. Have at least 5 years full-time experience doing reserve studies.
2. Provide a list of 50 site inspection reserve studies performed.
3. Provide a sample reserve study that adheres to APRA Standards of Practice, and
   
4. Have professional and/or educational experience relating to reserve study practice.
5. Earn 8 hours of continuing education annually.

Membership Options

General Membership.  General membership is for companies that perform reserve studies but whose reserve study staff has not yet qualified for the Professional Reserve Analyst (PRA) credential.  Apply now...

PRA Membership.  PRA membership is for individuals who have conducted more than 50 reserve studies, have worked in the reserve study field for a minimum of four years and been supervised by a current PRA member.  Apply now...
